09-09-2024Omg, okay after reading tons of reviews on tons of different brands and models- I decided on this one. And Holy crap!!! I have a major dentist phobia and due to crowded teeth, I've battled tarter build up in particular areas for as long as I can remember. I didn't think there was anything I could do besides going and getting the planing done/deep dental cleaning (which due to my phobia was not EVER going to happen). This little machine has done wonders for my teeth that my brushing can't reach, and is sooo much more gentle and comfortable than using the manual scrapers I'm used to using. And to be honest, I'm not sure I've ever manually gotten everything off before. Now I am certain I did!! I love the choice of settings/levels of power. It's not coming all at once just because it's so bad on certain teeth, but I see huge progress and I've only used it 3 times. I'm very careful and gentle so it may be even faster for someone not as nervous as I am. I only have 1 con and it's just a personal thing- I have a very small mouth so the handle is a little large for when I'm trying to get behind my front bottom teeth. But I have to say if one was smaller that might sacrifice the power levels and I definitely don't think that would be worth it. It reaches just fine especially with all the little different tips they put in there. Using this and my waterpik have changed my life! This thing actually works and even if you go slow and soft like me, you will still see that it's working. It's like it turns all the hard build up into goo and then it washes right off with brushing or rinsing. I've used it 3 times (I have 4 teeth that are crowded back and can't get cleaned by brushing) and got my first one totally done tonight. Got it about a week ago and decided to do it a little bit every few days just to be safe. If you can stand to use it more often- go for it and your results will probably be even better than mine. I'm blown away by this thing and I wish I had known they existed sooner. Highly recommend for anyone battling tarter in hard to reach places. Or for anyone with a dental care phobia but can handle trying stuff yoursel. I would give this 10 stars if that were an option.PS- this model has a smart censor that does an auto stop if it touches soft tissue. I have sensitive gums too and this thing does a great job with not hurting and shutting off when no longer on your teeth. Yet the ultrasonic thing that breaks up the tarter, still works below the gum line even if you aren't touching right there! I figured I would at least have to get the under the gum line professionally done but maybe not. This kit comes with the manual dental tools too and thts what I'm using to get the areas that the machine can't touch. Best $50 IVE EVER SPENT!!!!

I don’t have a lot of money to go to a dentist so I took a chance and ordered this. I have zero regrets. It gets everything off of your teeth even stains. Order it and try it out. 09-09-2024My dentist said I have “an abundance of calcium in my saliva” - yikes!! So I require more cleanings per year than the average dental patient, which means more uncovered, out of pocket cleanings per year. So when I saw this product, I decided, not expecting too much in the way of performance, but, to give it a try.The directions were easy to understand and following them was fairly easy.There’s a stop feature that halts the vibration when it detects a soft surface like a gum. The first couple uses, not being very skilled using the product, I know the device saved my gums a few times.Now that I’m more used to how the device moves with different head attachments, I don’t have to stop so often.It really does remove plaque build up, especially on the back of my front lower teeth and am surprisingly happy with the results and product.The additional dental paraphernalia that are included are also super useful.I would have given the unit a 5 but it’s difficult, and I haven’t figured out a good way, to do the outside (next to the cheek) of the rear molars.
