This sturdy, leather pouch has a flap that folds over your watch to keep it in place. There is no snap on the flap, so it will snugly keep watches of various diameter in place, securely. As a pocket watch wearer for years, the main picture for this product is comical. It shows the fob (chain) securing the leather pouch to the model's belt loop. The fob is to attach the watch to the pouch. So, do not use the picture for guidance or you will show yourself to be a noob ;)The back of the pouch has a vertical leather strip with a single snap on the bottom so you can add the pouch after you put on a belt, very convenient.The leather is very stiff, great for protection. But I will be putting some saddle soap on it or mink oil to give the leather that more supple feel.Great value for the money and you can use your pocket watch without having to wear pants with a watch pocket or risk scratching your watch on other things in your pocket such as keys or pocketknives.I am going to wear this with my Army OCP uniform, they do not have watch pockets (surprise :)) on my Ranger belt since many places where service members have to work or go you cannot wear or use a smart watch or smart phone, but I still need to know what time it is.Get this pocket watch pouch, you will not regret it.

The snap button on this was about as useless as teats on a bull. It kept popping off any time I tried to open the flap. I took an awl and bent the 2 metal bars inside the snap outward and now it stays in place. However, I dont trust it to not pop off again.... also everything just feels cheaply made. Seems to be the trend now days. Expensive cheaply made garbage... I dont recommend this item at all.
