I bought 2 masks:one for me and one for my daughter.My daughter was dealing with flares from an autoimmune problem.She had to sit in front of a fan to keep her face cooled.When I got this for her, she was so excited because she could walk around and be productive in the house and not just be glued to the fan.I purchased one just to reduce any swelling in my face (for purely cosmetic reasons.)It is soft on one side so that it's not harsh on the skin.Honestly, I haven't tried the other side with just the beads.The coolness wanes after about 15 minutes but you're not supposed to keep it on for longer than that anyway.The straps work fine to keep it in place.It comes with a plastic baggy that can be closed so that odors don't get to it.The color blue matches the picture advertised.

This mask duo is great! The full face mask is amazing to decrease puffiness and as a general part of your skin care routine. I recently had some laser treatments, and this also helped immensely with the swelling.The eye mask is an added bonus for days where you don’t need the full face or when looking to relax or calm a headache.However, the best part is that this is two sides! Each side provides different levels of coolness or heat, which is super handy when you’re seeking a more extreme or subtle experience.10/10 recommend!

So, this product was an excellent choice for having an ice pack for your face, especially if you have a swollen face from, let's say, a chemical peel or something. This ice-cold face mask would be perfect for you during those lovely, needed spa days. But... This mask is not meant for every facial type.For example, I'm African American, and while the facial pack fits around my face perfectly, the mouth section is raised too high for my lips to fit through. Well, my lips can occupy the mouth section of the product, but at the expense of the nose and eye sections not fitting correctly, either. So, while wearing the face mask, my upper lip pokes out in the mouth portion with a squished look, while my bottom lip is pressed harshly underneath the mouth opening. Very uncomfortable, even when I loosen up the Velcro bands from behind my head. It does really do its job for about 20 minutes; however, keeping the ice pack cool to your face, though. And very soft and cushiony on the outer area of the product, so lying down with the product doesn't accidentally freeze to anything else that's not your face, like your cover or blanket.On the other hand, the smell is overwhelming when you first wear the product. It's not super bad, but you can tell some product-type smell emits from the ice pack. But with a few hand washes and uses from the ice pack, the scent is thankfully dissipated.So, a great product in the end, but I wished there was some way to make every face type fit the mask perfectly, not just for certain ethnicities. I recommend it, but still, a little tweak would be suitable for this product.
